Curiosity. It drives our learning. Young minds are encouraged to ASK questions, then FIND the answers and SHARE them with the class. Learners collect bees each time they share and aim to complete their "learning hive". Confidence and knowing different ways to find information is valued.
Drive your thinking and build a city. We introduce learners to what a "concept" is and how it enables us to gain a better understanding of a topic. Explore how the 6 key question words will lead to more effective thinking and learning. With each question that is asked, students collect points to build a digital city.
Concept Scene Investigation. Dive deep into a concept using the SOLO Taxonomy framework. Gather solid knowledge and understanding for a topic. Then, based on your new "connections" create a new idea, make a prediction, show us your new thinking. Dive below the surface through 6 levels until you find treasure.
Seekers are solution finders. Small teams collaborate on developing a BIG IDEA to a problem (scenario). The team is taken through the key phases of "solution fluency". The team consults with experts (MENTORS) beyond the classroom to guide and support the delivery of an agreed strategy to the class or, the school community.
Q-World. Online Inquiry framework. Our approach is to offer teachers a template for scaffolding creative thinking across your school. Each school is different. Therefore we have avoided covering topics and learning themes. Q-World is predominantly a 'thinking' skills framework that can be overlayed to most learning areas.
